Sekyere South District Assembly Participates in the 41st Farmers’ Day Celebration at Asante Mampong

The Sekyere South District Assembly, in collaboration with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and other Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), participated in the 41st Farmers’ Day Celebration held at Asante Mampong. The ceremony was organized to honour, encourage, and reward hardworking farmers whose dedication and resilience continue to ensure food security and sustain livelihoods across the nation. The event provided an opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of farmers, whose efforts bring food to the doorsteps of citizens and play a critical role in national development. The Assembly reaffirms its commitment to supporting the agricultural sector through policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, improving livelihoods, and promoting sustainable farming practices within the District.
