STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGE ON LEAP REASSESSMENT IN SEKYERE SOUTH DISTRICT

The Sekyere South District Assembly held a stakeholders’ engagement on the reassessment of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) programme. Led by District Coordinating Director Mr. Oliver Opoku Yeboah, the meeting aimed to explain the government’s plan to refine the programme to better support vulnerable households. Participants discussed improving targeting, addressing challenges, and ensuring fairness. The engagement highlighted government’s commitment to strengthening social protection and improving LEAP’s impact on marginalized populations.
